A new crypto card has appeared in the Trustee Plus app — a tool for those who want to use digital assets in everyday life as easily as a regular bank card. Online and in-store payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay, a separate balance and transparent terms — without complicated schemes or hidden fees.
The card is made for people who live actively: pay for coffee, book hotels, shop online and travel. It combines the convenience of classic cards with the benefits of crypto, letting you store assets legally, exchange them quickly, and pay for purchases without extra steps.
The Trustee Plus crypto card launched in February 2026 and will remain in beta mode until 10 March. This means the product already works fully, but we are actively collecting feedback, gradually adding new features, and improving it together with users.
To avoid speaking in general terms, we have prepared the Top 7 features of the new crypto card in Trustee Plus. Ready? Let’s go!
Feature 1. A separate balance for the Trustee Plus crypto card
The first thing to understand: the Trustee Plus crypto card works on the principle of a separate balance. This means it is not directly linked to your main crypto account and does not “see” all your assets. You decide how much to allocate specifically for card payments.
How does it work?
You have a main balance in Trustee Plus (for example, Bitcoin, Ethereum or Solana). Separate from it is the card balance in USDC. You decide how much to transfer to it for spending.
Why do you need this?
Spending control — the card works like a separate “budget”, so you can clearly see how much you have set aside for everyday purchases.
Convenience — you don’t need to convert crypto before every purchase.
TIP: Use the card balance as your personal budget for the day or week. This makes spending easier to control and keeps usage максимально predictable.
Feature 2. 0% fees on purchases with the Trustee Plus card
![]()
Trustee Plus follows a transparent model: 0% fees on all purchases — online and in-store, with no hidden conditions.
What does that mean?
You buy a coffee for $3 — exactly $3 is deducted from the card. Not $3.15 as a “conversion fee”, not $3.09 as a “service charge”, but precisely what the item costs. That’s it. No surprises on your statement.
That is why the Trustee Plus card is ideal for everyday use:
-
- regular payments
- online shopping
- travel and spending abroad
Feature 3. Instant card issuance (up to 59 seconds)
The Trustee Plus card is designed so you can issue it and start using it immediately, without extra steps or waiting. The whole process takes up to 59 seconds.
What do you need to issue the card?
- complete verification (KYC) in your Trustee Plus account
- tap “Issue card”
- wait up to 59 seconds
That’s it! The card is ready to use.
Immediately after issuance, all details are available:
-
- card number
- expiry date
- CVV
This means you can use the card right away, with no pauses or extra confirmations.
With Trustee Plus, you can:
-
- pay for online purchases
- add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay
- pay in physical shops via NFC
No waiting — just issue the card and use it whenever it suits you.
If you have not yet completed verification, do it in advance. KYC takes a few minutes, and then you can issue the card whenever you need it.
Feature 4. Apple Pay and Google Pay
![]()
A virtual card is great, but searching in the app and opening the interface… that’s too many extra actions. In a supermarket or coffee shop queue, you feel it especially.
When the Trustee Plus card is added to Apple Pay or Google Pay, payment becomes a single gesture: hold your phone or smartwatch to the terminal and confirm with Face ID/Touch ID.
How to add the card to your wallet
For Apple Pay:
- Go to “More”.

- Then open the Apple Pay section.

- Choose the option to add the card to Apple Pay.

- After that, tap “Open Wallet”.

- Choose manual card entry.

- Enter the card details and tap “Continue”.

- Enter the code you receive to confirm adding the card.
For Google Pay:
- Open the Google Pay app.
- Choose the option to add a “Payment card” to your wallet.

- Review and accept the card issuer’s terms.
- Choose a verification method.

One last step remains — top up your Trustee Plus card balance and pay anywhere with NFC!
Benefits:
-
- Fast — no need to take out a physical card
- Secure — the card number is not shared with the merchant
- Convenient — your phone is always to hand
Feature 5. USDC top-ups “with no surprises”
Topping up the Trustee Plus card is as simple and transparent as possible.
How to top up the card
- Open the Trustee Plus app
- On the main screen, tap the “card” image
- Select “Top up”
- Enter the required amount in USDC
- Confirm the top-up
- Wait up to one minute
- Done — you can go and pay
Top-up limits:
- Per transaction: up to 3,000 USDC
- Maximum on-card balance: 5,000 USDC
Why USDC?
USDC is a regulated stablecoin with a transparent reserve model, issued by the US company Circle and pegged to the US dollar (1 USDC = 1 USD). It has a transparent reserve model, so your balance is not affected by Bitcoin or Ethereum price volatility.
What’s next:
Soon we will add the ability to top up the card with any cryptocurrency — the system will automatically convert it into USDC. We’ll explain more below.
Feature 6. A fair model with no hidden conditions

At Trustee Plus we believe finances should not be complicated or confusing. That’s why our crypto card is designed so everything is clear straight away — with no small print and no unpleasant surprises.

Feature 7. Beta mode and a live product
Finally: Trustee Plus is a live product that is developing right now. Beta mode (until 10 March) does not mean reduced functionality today or any risks for users:
-
- The card already works — you can pay for purchases
- We actively collect user feedback
- New features are added every week
- Technical issues are fixed quickly
Why is that great?
Taking part in the beta gives you the chance to feel involved in building the product. You are not just a user — you are part of the process. Every review and every suggestion truly matters to us.
Spotted a bug? Message us — we’ll fix it.
Missing a feature? Tell us — we’ll add it.
Something feels awkward? Show us — we’ll improve it.
What have we already improved thanks to feedback?
-
- Optimised card top-up speed
- Added a detailed transaction history
- Improved real-time balance display
- Fixed several small Apple Pay bugs
What will appear in Trustee Plus in the near future

Beta is not only about testing — it’s also about development. Take a look behind the scenes, where the Trustee Plus development team is working, and explore the list of features that will appear in the wallet soon. Many of them, by the way, are being implemented thanks to your feedback.
Top up the card with any cryptocurrency
Now: USDC only
Soon: Bitcoin, Ethereum, SOL, BNB and others
The system will automatically convert your crypto into USDC for payments. Hold Bitcoin? No problem — transfer BTC to the card, it will be converted into USDC, and you can pay.
PIN code and ATM cash withdrawals
One of the most common questions is: “When will cash withdrawals be available?”
We are actively working on this. ATM withdrawals require additional integration with processing centres, but it is a priority.
What’s coming:
-
- A PIN code for the card
- ATM cash withdrawals worldwide
- Withdrawal limits (details will be clarified later)
Higher top-up limits
Now:
-
- Per transaction: 3,000 USDC
- Maximum on-card balance: 5,000 USDC
Planned:
-
-
Gradual increases to the limits
-
Physical cards
The current virtual card is fully functional for online and in-store payments via Apple/Google Pay, but many people prefer physical plastic. We hear you.
Now:
Planned:
-
- Physical card
- Delivery to EU countries
- An expanded set of features
Minor technical improvements
Right now, the card in Trustee Plus is in beta testing, so occasionally you may encounter small technical “rough edges”.
That is normal for a live fintech product that is actively evolving rather than standing still for years. At the same time, users can clearly see how the service grows: new features appear regularly, stability increases, and the interface is refined.
So, for those who like being “one step ahead”, taking part in beta testing is more of an advantage than a drawback.
Frequently asked questions
-
Is it safe to keep funds on the card balance?
Yes, absolutely. The card balance in Trustee Plus is separated from your main account. You decide how much to transfer to it.
This allows you to:
- Manage spending conveniently
- Limit risk if the card is compromised
- Use the card daily without worrying about the security of your main savings
Why is there a 5,000 USDC limit?
5,000 USDC is a temporary limit to ensure stable card operation during beta mode.
Such limits help to:
-
- Control system load
- Minimise risks at the testing stage
We plan to gradually increase limits after the beta period ends and once we have analysed the card’s performance.
Will there be a physical card?
Yes, a physical card is planned and is already in development.
For now, a virtual version is available and works fully for:
-
- online purchases
- in-store payments (via Apple Pay / Google Pay)
The current focus is stable virtual card performance and expanding the feature set (top-ups with any crypto, cash withdrawals, etc.).
We will announce the launch of physical cards separately in the app and via official Trustee Plus channels.
What should I do if a payment fails?
If a payment fails, check the following:
-
Is there enough money on the card balance?
Even if you have funds in your main account, the card has a separate balance. Top it up.
-
Have you exceeded the limits?
Maximum on-card balance: 5,000 USDC. Maximum per top-up: 3,000 USDC.
-
Try again
Sometimes payments can fail due to technical issues on the merchant’s side or the acquiring bank.
-
Use another payment method
If it’s urgent, pay with another card and investigate the reason later.
-
If the issue repeats
Contact Trustee Plus support in the app. We will help you разобраться.
